29/11/2019 – Guinness PRO14 Communications – Zebre make four changes for trip to Dragons

Giulio Bisegni and his teammates travel to Newport to face the Dragons in the 7th round of the Guinness PRO14.

The kick-off is at 5:15 pm UK time at Rodney Parade.

The home team has secured two victories in the championship and currently occupy 5th position in Conference A. Zebre rank 7th in the same Conference.

The two teams will meet again after the Dragons emerged victorious on October 5 in Parma. Overall, the two sides have met on 13 occasions, with the Dragons victorious in 8 of those matches since their first encounter in 2012.

Zebre welcome back their Azzurri contingent for the match at Rodney Parade, but Dean Ryan is without five players called up by Wales Head Coach Wayne Pivac as they prepare to face the Barbarians. The players missing are Elliot Dee, Leon Brown, Ollie Griffiths, Aaron Wainwright and fly-half Sam Davies.

Zebre co-captain George Biagi has been called up by Barbarians coach Warren Gatland and will be amongst the replacements at the Principality Stadium.

There will be four changes in the Zebre XV chosen tomorrow’s fixture.

In the pack, young star Danilo Fischetti and internationals Luca Bigi and Renato Giammarioli return, while Marcello Violi continues at scrum half.

Johan Meyer returns after a two week suspension as a result of the red card against Glasgow Warriors.
