The University of Queensland are set to claim their second Aon Uni 7s crown following day one of the final round in Canberra.
In gale-force conditions, the 2017 Champions have beaten the University of Technology Sydney, Bond University and the University of New England all but ensuring the sides place at the top of Pool B.
The University of Adelaide has also emerged as finals contenders following the days play, after a convincing 26-5 win over round three champions the University of Sydney.
The South Australian outfit will also head into day two with wins over the University of Canberra and the University of Melbourne seeing them currently atop of Pool A.
Teams will return to the University of Canberra for the last time on Sunday morning for their last pool matches before heading into the finals later in the afternoon.
Day two of the 2019 Aon University Sevens will be broadcast LIVE on RUGBY.com.au with hosts, the University of Canberra taking on the University of Sydney at 9.00 am (AEDT)
