08/01/2020 – Guinness PRO14 Communications – Disciplinary Update – Round 10: Brok Harris

A Disciplinary Committee will meet in Dublin on Wednesday, January 8 to consider the Citing Complaint made against Brok Harris (No 1) of Dragons for an incident which occurred against Ospreys Rugby on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

The complaint refers to an incident involving Ospreys Rugby No 9 (Aled Davies) in the 41st minute of the Guinness PRO14 Round 10 fixture at Rodney Parade (Newport).

The Player has been reported by the Citing Commissioner in charge for infringement of Law 9.20 – Dangerous play in a ruck or maul. a) A player must not charge into a ruck or maul. Charging includes any contact made without binding onto another player in the ruck or maul. b) A player must not make contact with an opponent above the line of the shoulders. c) A player must not intentionally collapse a ruck or a maul.

The Player will face a Disciplinary Committee via videoconference. The Committee will comprise of Michael Coghlan (Chair), George Spotswood and Rose Alice Murphy (All Ireland).
